Welcome To Albery Dog Rescue
Caring For Dogs….Finding New Homes
Rehoming A Dog
Rehoming a dog is a big responsibility, but a rewarding one. By giving our rescue dogs a forever home you can find a dog that fits your personality and lifestyle.
We will always tell you as much as we know about the dog you are rehoming and are on hand to give you guidance on the right dog for you.
Get Involved
We are always looking for volunteers who can help with organising and stewarding of our events and show days.
By giving just a few hours of your time during the year you can help raise vital funds for the rescue.
Foster A Dog
We would love to take in every dog which is brought to us, but sometimes we just don’t have capacity.
We always welcome new foster carers who are able to care for a dog whilst they wait for a forever home, so please get in touch to see how you can help!
Make A Donation
On average it costs £5 per day to care for each rescue dog, whilst they await a forever home. All donations we receive go straight to the cost of caring of the dogs and not lost in administration.
About Albery Dog Rescue
As a small child Beryl Griffiths rescued a duck which had a broken leg, from a local market when visiting there with my father – never knowing this would be the start of rescuing animals of all sizes, from rabbits to horses.
Dogs are animals Beryl has always lived with for as long as she can remember, starting with Cocker Spaniels which her parents bred, through to a Rough Collie.
Rescue dogs have played a big part in Beryl’s life and working with another re-homing organisation as a voluntary treasurer has given her vast experience of all breeds, especially German Shepherds.
In 2004 Beryl decided it was the right time to set up her own rescue centre, and this is where Albery Dog Rescue began.
